Amarone

So, most of you know that I am a wine lover. I have well over 100 bottles in stock right now and I am continuously replenishing my stock. I mean who doesn't love a good glass of red on a chilly winter night, add some jazz and what more is there. :)

In any case, I was out with a friend a few weekends ago and I found this wine. I had never heard of this type. It's called Amarone. It is from the southern regions of Italy. And let me tell you. The bottle that we had was fabulous. I would hands down drink this again.

Needless to say, I clearly meant what I said because I went out the next day and purchased a few bottles of my own. Total Wine is my jam. They had just about everything I was looking for in the wine section.

All I can say is that I have yet to break into any of these but I am definitely going to get started soon.  I have had a couple of other bottles in my collection in higher priority.

"Drink no wine before it's time". -- Whoever thought of that??? :)

I spent the day cleaning and organizing my house. This remodel is going to kill me even before it starts. I did get to do a little bit in my fauxbonichi journal today. I'm still working on the layout. I started a new journal Friday and I am still trying to get the hang of what I really want to see on the pages. I also did not color the image yet.  I had planned on saving them until the cruise and doing that as a little creative fun, considering I'm not actually crafting on this adventure.

Well, I am going to call it a night.  I have another big day of cleaning and catching up on TV shows tomorrow.
